Not all custom cabinet shops build custom cabinets the same way.
At Sawtooth Carpentry our cabinets are built with 3/4” hardwood lumber, cabinet grade sheet goods and quality paint grade materials for all our projects. Our cabinets are built to last so we never use particle board for any part of our cabinet construction.
Cabinets are Framed with Inset, Standard/Partial, or Full Overlay options (i.e. no European/Frameless cabinets). We offer dovetail drawers, soft close hinges and undermount drawer slides.
We build and install all our own cabinets. None of our cabinets are prefabricated.

Our only disclaimer is that all natural wood species vary in color and grain pattern. Every piece will stain and finish in a way that is unique to each piece of lumber. Some wood species are known for more consistent stain & finish patterns (alder, oak, maple) while other species are chosen specifically for their variance in stain and finish patterns (hickory).
